Providing Therapy For Children, Teens and Their Families with Results
In today’s world....especially in Orange County, finding and maintaining healthy relationships can be a challenge. The pressure of trying to be a certain way and living up to everyone’s expectations can be overwhelming. According to the U.S. Surgeon General, 20 percent of children in the United States suffer from mental illness. Many disorders become more apparent during puberty.
If you’refeeling sad, anxious, stressed, disconnected, having difficulty with peers, academic issues, being bullied at school, struggling to make or maintain positive relationships/friendships or you are not being an active participant in life you are not alone.
Often, typical "teen" and "child" issues such as acting out, parent child conflict, academic issues and social difficulties can be addressed within as little as 5 sessions. My approach is to help you and your child get through the rough patch. Most of the time issues that need to be addressed do not require years of therapy.
I never close a door.....when our sessions end you are always welcome to come back in when you have hit another bump in the road. I also provide a "check in" to see that your child is staying on track. It's not uncommon for previous clients to drop in 6 months to a year later for a couple of sessions when they are struggling with another issue.
I am here to provide you with the tools necessary to navigate these difficult times.
